Getting back to the Basics

The holidays are over, time to update this site again. I hit my goal of 196 lbs on July 25. Though I wasn't getting to the gym, I was running the local trails around here 2-3 times a week and keeping fit. That tapered off by late October when the weather turned bad.

I checked my weight at the rec center today, 207 lbs, a gain of 11 pounds over the past two months. Ate a lot of junk since Thanksgiving till Christmas. Still have a few seven-layer cookies left and then clean eating again. Will start working out at the rec center tomorrow and will get the weight back down. I am setting a goal of 185 pounds by the time we go on our cruise. Sandra seems interested in losing weight as well. If it is through her Peter Noone group, I will still encourage it.

I was looking over my original post from two years ago. I have come a long way since then. And there is no way I am going back to that!
